Wii console games is the most popular video game consoles nowadays, with the main competitors are Sony Play Station 3 and Microsoft XBOX 360.  Console games are the latest form of audio visual multimedia which is also used for entertainment purposes.  The game is controlled and instructed using a hand controlled device which is also connected to the main console. Video game console can be displayed on a television or an equivalent audio-video equipment.  Due to their combined audio and video compatibility, console systems allow for unlimited entertainment.

Wii consoles was known by the code name of “Revolution” until April 27, 2006. The name “is simply Wii not Nintendo Wii.” This means it is the first home console Nintendo has marketed outside of Japan without the company name featured in its trademark. Nintendo Wii consoles are the latest innovation and one of the most successful platforms in the world of gaming. The most inovative part of Nintendo Wii video game is the Wiimote controller.

It has changed the way video games are played.  Wiimote is wireless controller like a remote that can be moved in all different directions to make characters move, run, jump, and do all sorts of different maneuvers depending on the game. This allows players to have an interactive gaming experience where the motion of the controller is mimicked by motions on the screen. There are some Wii controllers: Wii remote controller, the Nunchuk, Wii Classic Controller, and Wii Fit Balance Board
