Today, the most popular gaming system provided by Nintendo is the Wii. The Wii is designed to allow players to interactively play with their gaming system rather than sit on the couch and push buttons. As a player plays the Mario Golf the person must stand and go through the motions a golfer would to hit the ball. This allows a player to actively play the game rather than sit and push buttons. The purpose of this is to take away the negativity of video gaming because people gain weight while they play. Now a gamer can get exercise while they are playing their favorite game. Obviously as you see in the commercials, Nintendo uses health and fitness to their advantage when promoting the Wii since this is the only gaming system today where you can get exercise while playing.
Nintendo has been around for more than 100 years. As Nintendo continues to evolve, they seem to live up to their billing as the top gaming company in the world. If Nintendo can keep up its rich tradition of creating fantastic games for consumers and continue leading in gaming innovation, Nintendo will be around for another 100 years.
